restaurant  concept: barley sheaves 

                               The Angel's Share organic steak house and scotch-tasting bar is inspired by stems of barley blowing in the wind. Concrete, leather, rusted steel and dark wood combined with a colour palette that reflects the wide variety of scotch served, this masculine space is comfortable yet elegant. The mezzanine bar is separated visually from the steak house below by a series of recycled steel "gates" reflecting the conceptual gesture and laid horizontally to create a visual sense of separation. Light grazes the rough metal and polished concrete surfaces to create drama. (Click on individual images for more details.)
